Dans ses réflexions après le dernier des concerts « Music for Freedom », l’artiste et coordinateur du volet « Art » du Projet LESLAN Sage Soldat a exprimé à quel point il était ému non seulement par la réaction favorable du public pendant le concert, mais aussi par les chaleureux messages de soutien et d’encouragement qu’il a reçus après le concert. Interrogé sur ce qu’il ressentait à cette occasion, le dernier des concerts de la série Musique pour la Liberté, Sage a déclaré qu’il était « tellement heureux d’avoir atteint un tel objectif et d’avoir partagé les messages de liberté avec les jeunes, en leur rappelant le rôle qu’ils doivent jouer en tant qu’acteurs de la lutte contre l’esclavage au Niger ».

Le concert final de Music for Freedom a eu lieu le vendredi 24^th juin, à 20 heures, au Soleil d’Afrique à Niamey, au Niger. Bien que l’équipe ait été confrontée aux inévitables contraintes logistiques, le concert final a tout de même attiré un nombre important de spectateurs, dont des membres de l’organisation Timidria et le fameux activiste Mauritanien l’Honorable Biram Dah Abeid.

The Fifth and Final Concert of the Music for Freedom Concerts in Niger. Thank you for Following!

Reflecting on the final of a series of Music for Freedom concerts, our concert coordinator and artist Sage Soldat expressed how moved he was by not only the public’s favourable response during the concert but also the warm messages of support and encouragement he received following the concert. Asked about how he felt on this occasion, the last of the Music for Freedom concerts, Sage said that he was ‘so happy to have achieved such a goal and to have shared the messages of freedom with young people, reminding them of the role they must play as actors in the fight against slavery in Niger’.

The final Music for Freedom concert took place on Friday the 24^th June, at 8pm, at the Soleil d’Afrique in Niamey, Niger. Although the team were hampered by scheduling constraints the final concert still achieved a good turnout and an excellent audience response including members of the Timidria organisation and the Mauritanian MP and Human Rights activist Hon. Biram Dah Abeid.
