L’ « Étude sur l’esclavage au Niger : témoignages, manifestations et causes » coordonnée et rédigée par Oumarou Moussa pour Timidria, est le résultat de quatre années de recherche participative dans toutes les regions du pays. Timidria a développé l’étude avec le soutien d’institutions nationales, le permis du ministère de l’éducation, et l’autorisation de la Haute Autorité pour la Protection des Données Personnelles, financé par l’AHRC (UK), en collaboration avec l’Université Abdou Moumouni de Niamey, l’Institut de recherche en sciences humaines du Niger (IRSH), l’Université de Birmingham et l’University College London (UCL).
The « Study on Slavery in Niger: Testimonies, Manifestations and Causes » coordinated and redacted by Oumarou Moussa for Timidria, is the result of four years of participatory research in all the country’s regions. Timidria developed the study with the support of national institutions, the permit of the ministry of education and the authorisation of the High Authority for the Protection of Personal Data, funded by two AHRC (UK) grants, in collaboration with the University Abdou Moumouni of Niamey, the Institute for Research in the Humanities of Niger, the University of Birmingham and University College London (UCL).
